# Spreadiom — Full LLM Context > Spreadiom is a tool for website owners ("publishers") to sell banner ad space directly to advertisers and get paid into their own Stripe account. Each ad slot gets a booking page: advertisers pick dates, upload a banner and pay by card through Stripe Checkout, and the money goes straight to the publisher. Spreadiom is free to start and charges a 5% platform fee only on completed bookings, invoiced once a month. This document is a complete, self-contained reference for AI assistants. - Website: https://www.spreadiom.com - Operated by: DevTeam Co., Ltd. (South Korea) — https://www.devteam.co.kr - Contact: info@spreadiom.com · https://www.spreadiom.com/contact - Language and currency: English only; all prices, payments and invoices in USD - Category: direct ad sales software for website owners (banner ad booking and payments) --- ## What Spreadiom is Spreadiom turns the banner ad slots on a website into self-serve products. The publisher sets the rules once — size, daily price, booking length, approval — and advertisers book and pay on their own. There is no ad network, no auction and no middleman holding the money: payments land in the publisher's own Stripe account. It suits blogs, niche and community sites, forums, documentation sites and any other site where the owner can paste HTML (WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, Discourse, hand-coded pages). ## How it works for publishers 1. **Create an ad slot.** Choose the size, the price per day (USD), the minimum and maximum number of days, and whether you want to approve each ad first. 2. **Paste one line of HTML.** The embed is a plain link and image (``) with fixed width and height — no JavaScript, no cookies, no layout shift. Images are served from a CDN. 3. **Empty slots sell themselves.** Until someone books, the slot shows an "Advertise here" banner in its exact size that links to the slot's booking page (`https://www.spreadiom.com/{code}/reserve`). 4. **Advertisers book and pay.** They pick free dates, upload a banner and pay by card. The money lands in your Stripe balance and the ad goes live automatically on its start date, then stops on its end date. 5. **Stay in control.** You get an email for every booking; approval requests come with review links. Impressions, clicks and CTR are tracked per slot and per booking, counting people only — crawlers, link-preview bots, headless browsers and scripts are filtered out. You can cancel a booking from your dashboard, and Spreadiom refunds the advertiser through your Stripe account — in full, or only the days that haven't run. ## How it works for advertisers 1. **Pick dates** on the slot's availability calendar, within the publisher's minimum and maximum booking length. 2. **Upload a banner** (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB). It is cropped to the slot's exact size; uploading at twice the slot's dimensions gives sharp results. Animated GIFs are shown as a still image. Every creative is screened by AI for adult, gambling and drug content. 3. **Pay by card** through Stripe Checkout. The payment goes directly to the publisher's Stripe account; Spreadiom never sees card details, and Stripe emails the receipt. 4. **Follow results** on a private booking page (status, dates, live impressions and clicks) and by email: confirmation, approval and a results report when the campaign ends. No account is needed. Advertisers who lose their booking link can request it at https://www.spreadiom.com/advertiser#find — if bookings exist for that email address, the links are emailed to it (the page always shows the same neutral message). ## Payments and approval - Advertisers pay through Stripe Checkout on the **publisher's own Stripe account**. Spreadiom never holds the publisher's money. - Funds reach the publisher's bank on their normal Stripe payout schedule. Stripe's card processing fees are charged by Stripe as usual and are not part of Spreadiom's fee. - **Approval (optional, per slot):** the card is only **authorized** at checkout and **charged when the publisher approves**. If the publisher declines, or doesn't review the request in time, the hold is released and nothing is charged. Without approval, the card is charged at checkout. - **Connecting Stripe:** publishers paste their Stripe API keys (a restricted key is recommended). Keys are stored encrypted, Spreadiom creates the Stripe webhook automatically, and Stripe test mode is supported for trying everything with test cards. ## Pricing - **Free to start.** No subscription, no setup fee, no monthly minimum. Creating an account, ad slots and booking pages costs nothing. - **5% platform fee on completed bookings** — bookings that were actually charged, in Stripe live mode. - The fee is **not deducted from payments**; it is invoiced separately once a month. - **Never billed:** test-mode bookings, requests the publisher declines, requests that expire before review, and refunded amounts. A month without completed bookings produces no invoice. - **Advertisers pay no extra fee:** they pay the publisher's daily price × the number of days. Worked example: an advertiser books 7 days at $30/day = $210.00. All $210.00 lands in the publisher's Stripe balance (before Stripe's processing fee). The next monthly invoice includes $10.50 (5%). The publisher keeps $199.50 before Stripe's fee. ## Billing policy 1. A booking is charged (at checkout, or when the publisher approves) — Spreadiom records a 5% fee for it (live mode only). 2. At the end of the month, fees for all bookings charged that month are added up; refunded amounts are left out. 3. The invoice is emailed in USD on the **1st of the month**, listing each booking it covers. 4. It is **due on the 15th** and is **paid by PayPal** (from the email or the publisher's Billing page). 5. **Reminders** are sent while the invoice is open. 6. If the invoice is still unpaid **14 days after the due date**, **new bookings are paused**. Ads that are already running keep running. 7. Paying the invoice **restores the account instantly**. ## Enterprise For high-traffic publishers who want a platform of their own, DevTeam builds, deploys and maintains a custom, dedicated banner management system tailored to the publisher's infrastructure. - Initial system build: **from $3,000** (one-time). The price depends on website complexity, additional subdomains, API server integration, migration of an existing ad system and other custom requirements. - Maintenance & support: **from $99/month**, optional (server management, updates, technical support; extra costs may apply for complex infrastructure, high-traffic optimization or custom features). - Revenue: **100% of advertising revenue goes directly to the publisher** — no platform fees, no commissions. - Included: full source code ownership, dedicated infrastructure setup, custom domain and SSL, integration with existing systems, admin dashboard and analytics, technical documentation, 30 days of post-launch support. - Process: consultation → custom build → deployment → ongoing support, typically **2–4 weeks** from consultation to launch. - Details and quote form: https://www.spreadiom.com/enterprise ## What changed (for anyone with older information) - Publishers are now paid by advertisers directly into **their own Stripe account**. Older descriptions of weekly PayPal payouts to publishers and a 10% service fee are out of date. - The public directory of ad spaces (`/space`) was retired; old links redirect to the home page. Advertisers reach booking pages through a site's "Advertise here" banner or a link from the publisher. - The advertiser login with one-time email codes was retired; new advertisers book as guests and receive private booking links. ## Frequently asked questions ### For publishers **What is Spreadiom?** A tool for website owners to sell banner ad space directly to advertisers. Each ad slot gets its own booking page where advertisers choose dates, upload a banner and pay by card, and payments go straight to the publisher's own Stripe account. **Is Spreadiom really free to start?** Yes. There's no subscription, setup fee or monthly minimum. You only pay the 5% platform fee on bookings that are completed and charged. **What counts as a completed booking?** A live-mode booking where the advertiser's card was actually charged: at checkout on slots without approval, or when the publisher approves on slots with approval. Test-mode bookings, declined requests and requests that expire before review are never billed. **Is the 5% taken out of my payments?** No. The full payment arrives in your Stripe account (minus only Stripe's processing fee). Spreadiom invoices the 5% once a month. **Who pays Stripe's fees?** Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each payment, based on the publisher's Stripe pricing and the card used. It goes to Stripe and is not part of Spreadiom's 5%. **When and how do I pay the invoice?** On the 1st of each month Spreadiom emails an invoice in USD for the previous month's completed bookings. It's due on the 15th and is paid with PayPal. **What happens if I refund a booking?** Refunded amounts aren't billed. If a booking is canceled and refunded — in full, or only for the days that haven't run — the 5% applies only to the amount kept. **What happens if I don't pay an invoice?** Reminders are sent first. If it's still unpaid 14 days after the due date, the publisher's booking pages stop taking new bookings, while running ads keep running. Paying restores new bookings instantly. **Can I approve every ad before it goes live?** Yes. Turn on approval for a slot: the advertiser's card is only authorized at checkout and charged when you approve. Declined or unreviewed requests release the hold. **Will the ad slow down my website?** No. The embed is one line of plain HTML — a link and an image with fixed width and height. No JavaScript, no tracking cookie, no layout shift. **Can I try it without real money?** Yes. Connect Stripe test keys and book your own slot with Stripe's test cards. Test-mode bookings are never billed. ### For advertisers **Do I need an account to book an ad?** No. You book as a guest with your name and email and get a private link to your booking. **When is my card charged?** If the publisher approves each ad, your card is authorized at checkout and charged on approval. Otherwise you're charged at checkout and your ad goes live automatically on your start date. **What if the publisher declines my ad?** The hold on your card is released and you aren't charged — the same if the publisher doesn't review it in time. **Who receives my payment?** The website owner, directly through their own Stripe account. Checkout is hosted by Stripe; Spreadiom never sees your card details. **Which ads aren't allowed?** Ads with adult, gambling or drug content are rejected by automatic screening, and publishers can decline any ad that doesn't fit their site. **Can I change or cancel a booking?** Contact the website owner. Publishers can cancel from their dashboard; the refund — in full or for the unused days — goes back to your card through Stripe. **I lost my booking link.** Use "Find my bookings" at https://www.spreadiom.com/advertiser#find. If there are bookings for your email address, the links are emailed to you. --- ## Pages - Home — for publishers: https://www.spreadiom.com/ - Pricing (fee calculator, payments, billing, FAQ): https://www.spreadiom.com/pricing -
